can i compress my photos and videos folder using this?

i want to compress it to save spaces. sure i can just zip it and upload to cloud but this is far more convenient

Probably not. Photos and videos should use a compression format already. You can always test it out but just note that it will have no effect on the size when uploaded to the cloud anyway
