Every Windows edition treats Defender a little differently, and I can only test a handful of them. This thread maps the rest.
If you've run the tool, post your Windows edition and build (Home, Pro, LTSC, Enterprise, plus the winver number), whether you used the GUI or CLI, and the part that matters most: did disable work, and did restore bring everything back cleanly afterward?
Restore reports are the ones I read twice. A disable that works is expected. A restore that works is the difference between a tool and a trap, and I want to know immediately if any edition breaks that promise.
