From a8f0ef80219fb56f9c536d45d7a22b94996f4cd6 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Julius Marminge <51714798+juliusmarminge@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Fri, 18 Sep 2026 21:56:44 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] fix(release): drop placeholder allowBuilds entry that broke desktop builds The Effect rc.115 upgrade (#12326) left `msgpackr-extract: set this to true or false` in pnpm-workspace.yaml. pnpm tolerates the string, but scripts/build-desktop-artifact.ts decodes allowBuilds as a boolean record and has failed every scheduled release since with `SchemaError: Expected boolean at ["allowBuilds"]["msgpackr-extract"]`. The Windows jobs then fail downstream waiting on the Linux CLI archive. msgpackr-extract left the dependency tree in that same upgrade, so the entry is removed rather than restored.
