This upstreams RoboStack downstream patch `patch/ros-rolling-grid-map-core.patch`. Best-guess rationale: Eigen's EIGEN_EMPTY_STRUCT_CTOR macro is no longer needed for these stateless functors and can trigger compatibility issues with newer Eigen/toolchain combinations.
