Create a console-only Token box #2972

Closed

Description

@benesjan

I think that we need a console-only token box. A grantee is struggling with getting his own environment up and running because he needs to:

  1. Copy the token to his project,
  2. generate noir types for the token,
  3. generate typescript types for the token,
  4. import it all and successfully deploy the token.

    Is this something that is still needed or have the process changed so this have become easy? Essentially is this something we need to prioritize? @rahul-kothari might have some input here?

    I don't totally grasp what's "console only" box. Usage using the CLI is quite well documented. Do they mean "node only" box?

    If that's the case, then let's loop back on this once #4498 is finished @benesjan . The blank box should be absurdly barebones so I'm confident it would cover this situation

    No UI.
    Just run via scripts like we run e2e.

    @signorecello maybe we can create a token-test box?
