SEO: off-site brand-search lock-in for B3 / BitByBit #28

Follow-up to the SEO pass landed in f44a067 — the in-repo work is done, but the highest-leverage SEO moves for ranking the brand queries B3, BitByBit, and bbyb are off-site and need to be done manually.

Ordered by impact on brand-name search.

Tier 1 — Identity & verification (do these first)

• Google Search Console — verify a Domain property for bbyb.dev (covers all subdomains + protocols) via a Cloudflare DNS TXT record.
• GSC — submit https://bbyb.dev/sitemap-index.xml under Sitemaps.
• Bing Webmaster Tools — verify the same domain and submit the sitemap. Cheap, ~5% of LK traffic.
• Google Business Profile — register the Colombo office. The Sri Lanka geo is the strongest disambiguator vs other B3s globally.

Tier 2 — Entity graph

• Wikidata entry for "BitByBit (B3)" with:
  • canonical site URL https://bbyb.dev
  • founded date
  • country Sri Lanka / LK
  • official name + aliases: B3, BitByBit B3, bbyb
  • knowledge panels almost always have a Wikidata Q-ID; this is the single highest-impact off-site move
• Once the Q-ID exists, add it to sameAs in src/layouts/Layout.astro.

Tier 3 — Social & directory consistency

• LinkedIn company page — confirm bbyb.dev is the official URL, name is "BitByBit (B3)".
• X / Twitter — same.
• Facebook company page — same.
• Crunchbase — claim/create entry pointing to bbyb.dev.
• Add LinkedIn / X / Facebook / Crunchbase URLs to the sameAs array in src/layouts/Layout.astro (currently lists only GitHub orgs + blog).

Tier 4 — NAP consistency

• Identical formatting across:
  • site footer
  • LinkedIn
  • Google Business Profile
  • GitHub org page (BitByBit-B3 + b3-competition)
  • any directory/listing
• Phone numbers: +94 71 377 1561 and +94 77 716 9804 — exact same format everywhere.
• Address: Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Tier 5 — Monitoring (after the above)

• In GSC → Performance → Queries, filter to B3, BitByBit, bbyb weekly.
• Chase impressions-without-clicks with title/description tweaks.
