… out The sitemap was force-static with revalidate=false. It was baked at build time and never refreshed afterwards. When we removed benches during the PR #277 revert on 6/4, the static sitemap was stuck with the reduced bench list. Subsequent promotes (l1-finality stayed, network-fees / solana-tx-landing-latency / pm-data-freshness came back) never made it into the published sitemap, so Google deprioritized those URLs and the page impressions cratered. This is the actual root cause of the 200 to 3 impressions cliff on l1-finality. Hourly ISR keeps the sitemap accurate without a Prom roundtrip on every crawler hit.

ROOT CAUSE FOUND. The sitemap was set to force-static + revalidate=false, baking the bench list at build time and never refreshing.
When PR #277 was reverted on 6/4, the static sitemap got stuck with the reduced bench list. Every promote since then (l1-finality stayed, network-fees / pm-data-freshness / solana-tx-landing-latency came back via PR #316, #318) never made it into the published sitemap.xml. Google currently sees only 5 bench URLs in sitemap when 19 exist on main. The 14 missing benches (l1-finality is one) got deprioritized in crawl scheduling, which is the actual cause of the 200 → 3 impressions cliff.
Fix: drop force-static, use revalidate: 3600. The sitemap regenerates every hour so any added or removed bench gets reflected within the hour without needing a full redeploy.
After merge + prod deploy:
Recovery in 24-72h once Google re-evaluates.
