Describe your issue

Hi I noticed that UniGetUI seems to have an issue with an application called "FolderSync" (which does exactly that: it syncs between two (local and/or remote) folders - see https://foldersync.io/).

The installation runs through and one gets the message "Installation successfull" but then UniGetUI seems stuck and doesn't coninue with the remaing packages in its list. So, the top line of the bottom "task-list" reads "FolderSync installation successful" but then nothing continues.

I had to cancel this package to continue.

    Hi Michael Moser (@mmoser18) ,
    thanks for the report and the screenshot.

    The screenshot shows that winget reported Successfully installed, but UniGetUI was still waiting for winget to finish, so the queue stayed blocked behind FolderSync.

    I tried to reproduce it with UniGetUI 2026.3.3 and the winget it ships, updating FolderSync 2.14.0 → 2.15.0 with both FolderSync running and closed.
    Each time winget exited normally and the update completed.

    To narrow it down, could you tell me:

    1. If it happens again, while the operation is stuck, is winget.exe still listed in Task Manager ?
    2. Was FolderSync open (including in the system tray) before the update started?
    3. After the update, did FolderSync start again by itself?
