pytest: **BROKEN** Error in test test_announce_and_connect_via_dns

The following test "test_announce_and_connect_via_dns", that is passed on Linux, has an error on the l3 node. It shows a failed caused by pyln.client.lightning.RpcError: RPC call failed: method: connect, payload: {'id': '038194b5f32bdf0aa59812c86c4ef7ad2f294104fa027d1ace9b469bb6f88cf37b'}, error: {'code': 401, 'message': "All addresses failed: localhost.localdomain:12345: getaddrinfo error 'nodename nor servname provided, or not known'. "} and a node error shown in the log attached.

Apple handles local DNS differently. macOS relies heavily on mDNSResponder for network discovery, and its default /etc/hosts file is much strictly scoped. Out of the box, it maps localhost to 127.0.0.1, but it does not include an alias for localhost.localdomain.
A standard macOS /etc/hosts file looks like this:

127.0.0.1       localhost
255.255.255.255 broadcasthost
::1             localhost

You need to add localhost.localdomain to 127.0.0.1 in /etc/hosts, like:

127.0.0.1       localhost localhost.localdomain
255.255.255.255 broadcasthost
::1             localhost localhost.localdomain

Now, if you run uv run pytest -vvvv tests/test_gossip.py::test_announce_and_connect_via_dns the test passes, but l3 has the following BROKEN messages:
