[Bug]: sfserver still passes ServerQueryPort and BeaconPort removed in Satisfactory 1.0 #4967

Closed

Description

@dgibbs64

Summary

sfserver still defines and passes two ports that Satisfactory dedicated servers stopped using in 1.0:

  • queryport="15777" passed as -ServerQueryPort
  • beaconport="15000" passed as -BeaconPort

Since 1.0 the game uses port (7777, TCP and UDP) plus -ReliablePort (8888, added in 1.1). The two old ports are harmless to the game, but they show up in details and in firewall guidance, which leads admins to open ports nothing listens on.

Suggested fix

  • Remove queryport and beaconport from lgsm/config-default/config-lgsm/sfserver/_default.cfg and from startparameters.
  • Update fn_info_game_sf in info_game.sh and the port listing in info_messages.sh to match.
  • Keep port and reliableport.
  • Check what the monitor uses for its query port, so removing queryport doesn't break monitoring.

Split out of #4648 by @Radiant-Xyz. Its Docker workaround was dropped after a game update fixed the underlying problem, but the port cleanup still applies.
