get_activities with basic AUTH does not work anymore #26
Description
Since about end of September this does not work anymore. See my comment to Issue #25 and http://support.mapmytracks.com/customer/portal/questions/17402402-did-something-change-with-api-access-
I am attaching a minimal wireshark capture showing the problem. Using the same login/password I can login via web browser.
Of course I changed the password before posting this ...

I don't see an attachment, I'm afraid.
As per my reply on your support comment, can you post the output of the following, please: -
curl --user testapiuser:Password123 --data "request=get_activities&author=testapiuser" http://www.mapmytracks.com/api/
testuserapi is a free user with 1 public activity

Sorry for the missing attachment. Anyway I found the problem: If User-Agent contains the string python, I am getting "HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden".
try this:
curl -A python --user testapiuser:Password123 --data "request=get_activities&author=testapiuser" http://www.mapmytracks.com/api/
MMT: refuses Python clients, see MapMyTracks/api-v1#26
