Screensaver not working after a day or so #362

Describe the bug
Panels stops changing to screensaver page usually about a day after restart.
I can see in Openhab that the screen_state topic for the panel is receiving an off command but nothing changes on the panel. Sending on and then off to the screen_cmd topic works, then the screensaver page is seen. But as soon as a user i deactivating the screensaver by touching the panel it never goes back to the screensaver page.
I have a log below for one panel that works and one panel that shows the weird behavior:
Both have screensaver time to 15 seconds.
Panel with weird behavior:
Log from screensaver when user inactivates screensaver and 15 seconds after when screensaver should be activated. Second 12 user inactivates and then second 27 the 0x92 is received from the screen. No other logs after that.

Panel working as expected:
Log was captured from a user deactivating the screensaver and 15 seconds after when it is activated again.
second 8 user inactivates, second 23 screensaver is activated. First 15 seconds same as above.

Nice job opening an issue for tracking. From what my understanding is of this bug it seems plausible that there is something going on with MQTT. I've seen similar issues when MQTT loses connection but I'm not sure as to why MQTT connection state would have anything to do with screensaver showing state or not.
In any case it might be worth having a look at the MQTT-log (ie. MQTT-broker, mosquitto or such) so check if the panel has lost connection in the hours leading up to the issue presenting.

If at all possible, please run the latest devel version (or at least the firmware) as it has more debug logging enabled. This will hopefully let us slim down where the issues is.

I have a similar issue on 2.1.4-beta, I can replicate the issue by restarting MQTT/mosquitto, this causes the panel to reboot and reconnect, it then defaults to the light button screen, however its configured to default to the scenes page. When in this state the weather screen will never show. All buttons and lights still work as expected through home assistant.
If i reboot the panel, it loads to the scenes page as configured, and weather screensaver will work as expected.
It seems to work as expected for about a day or so until presumably it loses connection to MQTT.
This issue started since the last 2.1.4 beta update, and I performed a firmware/gui update on my panels.

I too had that bug with MQTT disconnecting and I believe I've since fixed it. Please try this firmware and report back. https://github.com/NSPManager/NSPanelManager/blob/devel/docker/web/nspanelmanager/firmware/sonoff/firmware.bin
Use the upload -> firmware menu in the manager.

can confirm, that development firmware version gracefully recovers from loss of connection to MQTT, solved my issue, thanks.
