The Newton tutorial now runs the two-cube receiving-box task for both SO-101 and reBot in its migration and final-check notebooks. A new benchmark notebook compares Newton SolverMuJoCo on native CPU and one CUDA device, starting in preflight mode. The sphere fundamentals and separate MuJoCo/VBD cloth-and-cable coupling lesson remain intact. This follows merged PR #280 and is independent of the companion MuJoCo/MJWarp PR.

The reproducible sweep covers 1, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024 and 2048 worlds, one full warm-up and five measured episodes. The retained workstation study accepted 35/36 configurations; reBot GPU1024 remains excluded, with its original settling failure preserved. The PR includes unchanged raw evidence, figures, hardware/configuration records, viewer fixes and a self-contained copy of the updated MuJoCo baselines. Newton 1.6.0 / Warp 1.17.0 / MuJoCo 3.12.0 remain hash-locked; source and model licenses are retained.

Validation: updated Docker image built; 274 regression tests passed across the full run and corrected stale-test rerun, plus three actual notebook tests (CPU box notebooks 02/04 and measurement-disabled preflight 05). Complete SO-101 and reBot CUDA box runs each passed 40,000 integrations. Five notebook format checks and source/LFS hash audits pass. The initial failure and all corrected runs are retained in hub-validation/2026-10-10.

These are community measurements on documented hardware, not official product benchmarks. New Hub checks are recorded separately from the original performance, GUI and coupling evidence. Live Brev and Colab execution remain unverified.

Fresh validation record: https://github.com/johnnynunez/accelerated-computing-hub/blob/1e04c48d1619e91a8e7e74e209fd1491ed23a4e5/tutorials/newton/hub-validation/2026-10-10/README.md

Refresh the Newton lessons with the physically validated two-cube receiving-box task, matched CPU/GPU benchmark, finite viewer lifecycle and self-contained MuJoCo baselines. Preserve solver coupling and unchanged raw evidence.

Follow-up to NVIDIA#280.
