what to do with the CDs on a new web site

The CDs section in http://openmath.org/cd/ contains quite a lot of generated content. If we switch over to a templating engine like jekyll, then we need to re-create that.
As we are hosting things on github, travis is probably the way to go for automation.

I think that openmath.org web site is currently built by ant via the build.xml file at the top level of the SVN repos. A variant of this could be run directly via travis. We would just have to restrict the build targets to the ones for the CDs, and add code for committing the results to the openmath.github.io repository. I think that Tom has done something very similar for the KWARC/bibs repository (just not with ant).

Tom, could we please make progress on this? This is the main holdup for switching over the site.

I made a new repository for the CDs https://github.com/OpenMath/CDs and cleaned up the build process (somewhat). See also the issues there.

I have reworked the build.xml into a set of Makefiles. And that allows me to do much better in automation.

I have a setup now where I can manually make updates (just by make install on the CDs repoistory) to the generated CDs. I guess this should do for now. closing, I will leave a travis issue on the CDs repository
