Summary

  • adds and updates interactive math manipulatives across fractions, decimals, powers of 10, graphing, integers, geometry, and scale drawings
  • converts proportional graphs, integer operations, fraction division, fraction operations, and fraction comparison into open exploration labs
  • adds Rational vs Irrational Numbers, including animated decimal analysis and number-line approximation
  • adds Compound Figures Decomposer, with custom polygon building, interactive cuts, and animated area calculations
  • adds Area & Circumference of a Circle, with circumference unrolling and cross-canvas sector rearrangement animations
  • adds direct manipulation, synchronized equations and visual models, keyboard and touch support, undo/reset controls, and reduced-motion behavior
  • improves place-value color coding and center-stage regroup animations
  • fixes fraction workbench split-order rendering so used pieces and segment dividers remain consistent

Why

The redesigned activities reduce rigid step-by-step gating and let students explore the underlying relationships directly. Symbolic equations remain synchronized with bars, chips, number lines, graphs, geometric models, and scaling animations.

Validation

  • npm.cmd run lint
  • npm.cmd run build
  • browser verification of the updated graph, integer, fraction, place-value, scale, rational-number, compound-area, and circle interactions inside the fixed 800 x 500 workspace
