worker_matches() required the name of any worker to be no longer than the request URL. The name of a ProxyPassMatch worker holds the literal "$N", which can match fewer than two characters, so a short expansion (e.g. a one digit id) skipped the worker and its parameters, and the default reverse proxy worker was used. Only apply the length check to prefix workers.
