This came up a in a few contexts. I'd like to propose an equivalent of https://www.kernel.org/doc/man-pages/linux-next.html for our repos, especially bootc and bcvk. In the age of LLMs we are generating content much much faster than it can be reviewed, and some of it is good! These repositories would: - Have a much lower barrier to entry for becoming a "maintainer" - Have lower quality requirements to merge - Act as a "proving ground" where we do expect at least some automated processes to try things out "for real" instead of having the code sit in a PR

I think this would be a great experiment.

At a technical level, right now our organization wide rulesets exclude repositories ending in
-sandboxfrom things like "no force push" requirements. But I like the name
-next. I guess I'd lean towards tweaking our rulesets to exclude-nextor we add repository metadata which is a new thing.
