StealthModule HideAdminsOnJoin corrupts CCSPlayerController serialization on Linux (segfault + frozen admin on join) #291
With StealthModule installed and HideAdminsOnJoin active, when an admin joins:
Server log floods with schema errors of the form Couldn't resolve offset 68-88 against CCSPlayerController
The joining admin is frozen on join and appears "hidden"/cannot join a team
Other clients are also blocked from joining teams
Server subsequently segfaults (SIGSEGV in libserver.so; core dumps available on request)
What we narrowed it down to
Removing only CS2-SimpleAdmin_StealthModule (main SimpleAdmin plugin untouched) eliminates the offset-resolution spam, the frozen-on-join behavior, and this crash entirely, reproducibly. Everything else in our 16-plugin stack was serially exonerated with core-dump analysis.
The same module worked on the same server content under Windows — this looks like a Linux-specific (or Linux-layout-specific) issue in whatever entity/serialization writes the module performs when hiding admins at join time.
Happy to provide coredumpctl stack traces, the full CSS log around a repro, or run a debug build.
