Behavior change worth confirming is intentional: the previous code here selected
RLIMIT_DATAas a fallback whenRLIMIT_ASwas undefined (#ifdef RLIMIT_AS ... #else int addressSpace = RLIMIT_DATA;). The newminipal_get_virtual_address_space_limit()only consultsRLIMIT_AS(guarded by#ifdef RLIMIT_AS) and never falls back toRLIMIT_DATA. On any Unix target that definesRLIMIT_DATAbut notRLIMIT_AS, this call site now returnsSIZE_MAXand the initial executable-memory reservation silently stops being clipped by the data-segment rlimit. If no such supported target exists this is harmless, but the consolidation drops theRLIMIT_DATApath that was previously specific to this site.Uh oh!
