This issue tracks all no-op runs from agentic workflows in this repository. Each workflow run that completes with a no-op message (indicating no action was needed) posts a comment here.
📘 What is a No-Op?
A no-op (no operation) occurs when an agentic workflow runs successfully but determines that no action is required. For example:
A security scanner that finds no issues
An update checker that finds nothing to update
A monitoring workflow that finds everything is healthy
These are successful outcomes, not failures, and help provide transparency into workflow behavior.
🎯 How This Helps
This issue helps you:
Track workflows that ran but determined no action was needed
Distinguish between failures and intentional no-ops
Monitor workflow health by seeing when workflows decide not to act
Reviewed the only commit in the 1-day lookback; documentation updates (README, DEVELOPING, workflow docs) are already included, so no documentation drift found.
Reviewed commits from the last day and PR #72; changes are schedule adjustments already documented in the PR, with no undocumented breaking interface changes found.
Checked commits from last 1 day; only additive changes in 1593526 (PR #136) with documentation updates and new workflows, no removals or interface breaks detected.
No action needed: reviewed all commits from the last 7 days for user-facing changes and checked related documentation files; recent workflow/interface changes were already documented in corresponding README/generated workflow docs, and no concrete documentation drift was found.
No action needed: workflow drift scan found only already-tracked open [workflow-patrol] items (#388 missing frontmatter name, #398 missing trigger callers); no new >=75% structural drift outliers requiring a new issue.
No action needed: I checked PR #406 open review threads and could not confidently determine any are completed without risking premature resolution; 8 threads remain open (4 current, 4 outdated) and none were auto-resolved.
No action needed: only collaborator-authored open issues were #224 (explicitly pending upstream fix) and #354 (requires edits under .github/workflows, which is disallowed in this run), so no safe, compliant small fix could be implemented.
No action needed: analyzed all non-test Go/Python/TypeScript sources found (3 Python files, 13 functions) and found no high-impact, non-controversial misplaced or duplicate implementations warranting a refactor issue.
No action needed: reviewed repository scripts for behavior-preserving simplification candidates, but only micro-refactors without clear merit were found and changed areas lack direct tests, so no safe PR was created.
No action needed: reviewed 128 commits from the last 7 days and inspected full diffs for high-risk user-facing changes; observed naming and formatting updates were standardization/alignment changes, with no concrete conflicting UX pattern drift that met issue-filing quality thresholds.
No action needed: reviewed commits from the last day (23e1050, 8252cb1, 7866182, a14473e, 536a2a8) and found no concrete undocumented breaking interface changes. Workflow-impacting auth/permission updates are documented in PR #400 and migration/upgrading docs, and remaining commits were docs-only or prompt text adjustments without downstream contract breaks.
No action needed: pinned gh-aw version in Makefile is already v0.50.4, which matches the latest release (v0.50.4), so there are no newer releases to assess for upgrade changes.
No action needed: reviewed 129 commits from the last 7 days for documentation drift and found no concrete doc breakage or untracked public-feature docs gaps.
No action needed: detected drift candidates are already tracked by open [workflow-patrol] issues #398 (missing trigger files for 10 workflows) and #388 (missing frontmatter name in 9 workflows), so filing a new issue would be duplicate noise.
