Add a GitHub event trigger beside schedules: a repository webhook connection created through `gh api`, a signature-authenticated callback that records the delivery and its run intent in one SQLite transaction before answering, event mappings with stable-id filters, delivery-id and content-digest dedupe, a readiness path exemption for the callback, connection diagnostics and controls in the routine editor, and source links on recent runs. Linear: KAT-3321 Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Address defects from the first live UI pass and the KAT-3321 audit: - Selecting GitHub event without a connection no longer invents a branded connection id or leaves the schedule fields rendered; setup opens with an editor-only draft that never enters the saved trigger contract. - The callback routes pings through the same durable admission path as other events, so a ping is recorded before it answers, deduplicates like any delivery, and marks the connection verified inside the transaction. - Connections report unavailable when the managed endpoint runtime is not running, and setup names the stopped runtime instead of a missing URL. - Connection ids are validated before they reach secret names and hook paths, and reusing an existing id is a conflict. - Digest rows expire on admission so an old identical body cannot suppress later deliveries forever; rejected deliveries count against the connection. - Add explicit RPC scope coverage and a server test for the readiness bypass. Linear: KAT-3321 Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Remove the provider hook and the reserved secret when setup fails after hook creation, and keep both when the connection was already committed. - Restore the previous signing secret when the GitHub patch fails during rotation; a failed secret read now fails rotation instead of deleting. - Bound the delivery headers stored and logged for unauthenticated requests. - Drop the hidden issue label filter when the trigger switches to a pull request event. - Decode callback connection rows through a typed failure. - Cover crash recovery after a durable receipt, bounded rejection headers, workflow head branch and issue label filters, and the hook cleanup path. Linear: KAT-3321 Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The live issue-label lane showed a saved issue trigger carrying the repository's default branch. The matcher then compared that branch against an issue delivery's null branch and rejected every issue event. The branch filter now applies to pull request and workflow deliveries only, and the editor drops a filter the selected event cannot use: branch for issues, label id for non-issue events. The branch control is hidden for issue events. Linear: KAT-3321 Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
KATACODE_E2E_CODEX_AUTH_MODE=oauth-or-api-key now prefers the environment API key. Codex resolves OPENAI_API_KEY only when no ChatGPT login exists, and its app-server keeps using stored ChatGPT tokens even when CODEX_API_KEY is exported, so the driver gives Codex a managed private home whose auth.json selects API-key auth while sessions and history still come from the shared Codex home. A user-configured shadow home is left untouched. Claude already resolves ANTHROPIC_API_KEY before its stored login, so it needs no change. Verified live: a real PR-open event run completed with the rolled OpenAI key and another with the rolled Anthropic key. Linear: KAT-3321 Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The rebase onto KAT-3320 (#234) merged two draft types. The chat panel now accepts the editor draft, the generation request carries the draft only when its trigger is a schedule, and draft revision tracking compares editor drafts. Generation still produces schedules only; a GitHub trigger starts the chat without a current draft instead of failing the contract. Compare
Introduced a new opencode.json file that defines the schema for MCP linear configuration, including remote type, URL, enabled status, and timeout settings. This addition enhances the configuration management for the application.
Improved the handling of draft types in the chat panel by ensuring that the editor draft is accepted and that generation requests only carry the draft when triggered by a schedule. Additionally, implemented draft revision tracking to compare editor drafts effectively. This update resolves issues with draft management and enhances the overall functionality of the chat feature.
Own the webhook admission decision table in RoutineStore: disabled connections and payloads for another repository return a durable `rejected` outcome with the delivery and counter written in the same transaction, and the route maps it. Infrastructure failures (connection lookup, secret read, body read) answer 503 instead of masquerading as client rejections. Also: persist the managed endpoint URL only after the relay config applies, clear a branch or label filter when its field is emptied, derive connection-setup cleanup from the store instead of a flag, state the Codex API-key overlay condition once, drop the stale hook id on disable, read repository metadata in parallel, replace insertRun's positional skip/event arguments with an options object, and remove the unused exports knip flagged. Format the .opencode skill docs. Linear: KAT-3321
Summary
KAT-3321 adds GitHub event triggers beside schedules: a repository webhook connection created through
gh api, a signature-authenticated callback outside session auth and the startup readiness gate, four event mappings with stable-id filters, durable delivery receipt and dedupe before 2xx, connection diagnostics and controls, and source-linked runs in web and Electron. This is a draft because the live acceptance lanes that need the managed HTTPS tunnel are still blocked on Kata Code Connect authorization for the isolated verification environment. Unit and integration verification is complete.
