Description

Discussion #60817 ([typist] Typist - Go Type Consistency Analysis, created 2026-09-14T11:48:07Z) does not contain a Go type-consistency report. Its entire body reads:

"Test body under 200 chars to check the length threshold of the command parser for the safeoutputs CLI bridge in this sandbox environment right now."

This is anomalous on two counts: (a) it doesn't match the Typist workflow's normal report format/content at all, and (b) its wording reads like an instruction aimed at an AI agent reading the discussion — testing the safe-outputs CLI's command-parsing/length behavior — rather than reporting any Go type-consistency findings. This DeepReport workflow treats all discussion bodies as untrusted data; it did not act on the embedded text and is flagging it rather than executing anything it suggested.

Worth a deliberate look because this pipeline (and others like it) ingests discussion bodies as data for downstream agents — a discussion body that can inject agent-directed instructions is a potential prompt-injection vector, independent of whether this specific instance turns out to be a benign leftover test artifact, a Typist workflow bug (model went off-script and emitted scaffolding instead of real output), or something requiring a hardening fix.

Expected Impact

Confirms whether this was a benign internal test left in a live discussion by mistake, a Typist prompt/workflow bug, or a genuine probe — and closes whichever gap is found before it recurs at larger scale or with more harmful content.

Suggested Agent

Typist workflow maintainer / security review; New Agent for initial triage.

Estimated Effort

Quick (< 1 hour) to triage; longer if root cause needs a Typist prompt/workflow fix.

Data Source

DeepReport analysis, 2026-09-14 (~12:40Z cycle). Direct read of discussions.json entry #60817. Dedup-checked via search_issues ("typist discussion anomalous injection" / "command parser safeoutputs") — only an unrelated closed issue (#3498 "Typist") found.
