Specification Test Enforcement

This PR updates specification-driven tests for the round-robin package set. The tty suite now checks each documented standard stream using a deterministic pipe and all specification tests use the required TestSpec_ prefix. The existing timeutil and types suites remain aligned with their READMEs.

Package Tests Added/Updated Tests Passing Spec Sections Covered
timeutil 0 23 Public API, usage examples, thread safety, design decisions
tty 3 3 Public API
types 0 8 Public API, types, usage examples, design notes

Test Derivation

All tests are derived from README.md specifications, not from implementation source code.

Spec-Implementation Mismatches

None found.

Validation

  • go build ./pkg/timeutil/... ./pkg/tty/... ./pkg/types/...
  • go test -v -run "TestSpec" ./pkg/timeutil/ ./pkg/tty/ ./pkg/types/
  • Experimental Cobertura coverage uploaded as spec-enforcer/generated-tests
  • make agent-report-progress passed formatting, build, schema, custom-linter, and impacted-test stages, but could not complete because golangci-lint is unavailable in the runner

Round-Robin State

  • Run mode: round-robin
  • Packages processed this run: timeutil, tty, types
  • Next packages in rotation: typeutil, validationerror, workflow
  • Total eligible packages: 36 (with README.md)
