Integration proposal: Agent Pulse (cost per user, request and agent, with budgets) #2467

Open

Description

@mosesonyango7

The observability integrations in the catalogue trace and evaluate agents. None of them can stop a model call when a budget runs out.

Agent Pulse shows what each ADK agent really costs. It prices every model call, tool call and failed call per user, request and sub-agent. A budget past its limit stops the next model call before it is sent.

It plugs into ADK through a BasePlugin in Python and agent callbacks in ADK Go (1 and 2). It works with native Gemini models and without a proxy in between. Most integrations in the catalogue are Python only, so this would give ADK Go users a working option.

It never records prompts, responses or tool arguments.

If this fits, I'd add one page at docs/integrations/agent-pulse.md with a logo, modelled on the Latitude and Langfuse pages, with tested Python and Go examples. Happy to adjust scope first.
