Description

@mikeal

Saw this recently https://github.com/probot/weekly-digest

This isn't a replacement for a nicely curated newsletter but it would really help with collecting up the recent activity when creating theses kinds of resources.

    I installed this on proto.school so that we can try it out. ProtoSchool/protoschool.github.io#53

    Hi @mikeal , glad you liked my app! 😄

    This isn't a replacement for a nicely curated newsletter but it would really help with collecting up the recent activity when creating these kinds of resources.

    Can you please let me know what you would like to see in a "the nicely curated newsletter"? I would be happy to hear some new features requested. 😄

    @abhijeetps thank you! it's a great app :)

    Can you please let me know what you would like to see in a "the nicely curated newsletter"?

    We're in the middle of getting the IPFS Weekly Newsletter going. The main difference is that there's human curation and copy around the content. Also, the project is comprised of hundreds of repositories across multiple orgs so we have to roll up a lot of things that don't fall into one repo or even one org.

    I would be happy to hear some new features requested. 😄

    I have lots :) I can add as issues on your GitHub if you like.

    • Disable "releases." The repo I've added it to does automatic gh-pages deployment on every merge in master so nothing will ever show up as a GitHub "release"
    • "Top 10 Reviews." I'd love to see a breakdown of the top 10 code reviewers each week and how much each person did.
    • Summarize stargazers/watches. Rather than list each one just a single text line of how many were added.
    • Issue Activity. Right now it only shows "new issues" and not activity in existing issues. Often issues "heat up" weeks after they were originally created.
