Projection replay can overwrite the newest user-message identity with null while rebuilding annotation state, breaking the current server test suite and consumers of that metadata.
Preserve the latest known user-message ID while replaying annotation events so the rebuilt projection matches live processing. The focused projection pipeline suite passes all 28 tests.
