Task 2 added the ask tree node but never regenerated website/docs/reference/gate/, so bun run docs:check failed. Regenerate via bun scripts/gen-docs.ts. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Add e2e cases for the two refusals the CLI itself authors via askFail: malformed --questions JSON and missing --questions. Both happen before any daemon call, unlike the existing three cases which all exercise askFail only via the daemon-rejection path. Also add the ask usage line to the verb summary comment at the top of commands/gate.ts, which listed every other verb but this one. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Summary
CLI verb over the daemon's
gate:askcommand, so callers can open a gate and ask a shared-presentation question from the command line instead of only through the daemon API.rt gate ask: new command-tree leaf wired to daemongate:askwebsite/docs/reference/gate/)Note: this verb is inert until the wave-2 daemon restart; RT-164's spawn keys off this merge plus that restart.
Review
CodeRabbit was rate-limited (org cap: 1 review/hour) with zero comments posted; the usual fallback model (fable) was also out of usage credits, so this PR's substitute adversarial review ran on Claude Opus 5. No blocking findings; two doc-nit fixes (unresolvable process-artifact citations) applied as a follow-up commit.
