I've been wanting to integrate the Codex family of models into our pull request reviewer and log analyzers via Azure Open AI.
I see that only Chat Completions are supported in GenAIScript at the moment though.
This is a vote for Responses API support.
For now gpt-5.2 with Chat Completions is still great!
Thank you for your feedback and the clear request for Responses API support—this helps us prioritize upcoming features. Your integration context (Codex family, pull request reviewer, log analyzers, Azure Open AI usage) is valuable. Could you clarify which specific endpoints or model capabilities you'd need from the Responses API for your workflows? Are there particular features or payload formats required for your use case? Any additional info on expected user interactions or output processing would also help ensure the API fits your needs.

The response api migration is a big lift, it's unclear at this stage if it will make it in.
