I put my limit as --limit="auth_user=id IN (1,2,3,4)". pg_sample command with a verbose option otputs an error message - "unexpected limit value '4)''".
I think this problem can be fixed by adding comma escape in regex here https://github.com/mla/pg_sample/blob/master/pg_sample#L626C47-L626C54.
