Bug description

This is a Nextcloud 27 screenshot.

In those days, we had : "X folders and X file (including X hidden)"
Since Nextcloud 28 (28, 29 and 30), “(including X hidden)” has disappeared.

I think it's a bug because I can't see any good reason for removing this information, given that you can always upload or create hidden files or folders and that there's always an option in the settings to show or hide them.

I think it was done to not confuse users, and only show what's currently visible.

But maybe ask designers for a UX decision, cc @nextcloud/designers

It wasn’t a design decision as far as I remember, must have fell off during the Vue rewrite.

I think it’s very nice to show for information. Even better would of course be if you can click it to toggle the hidden files directly there instead of needing to go to the settings. :)
