I build open-source tools for researchers and developers, and AIOps automation at Toyota Motor North America.
Connects a Mendeley reference library to Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients: search, read full-text PDFs, annotations, folders, BibTeX.
- Outside contributors: other developers wrote the MCP SDK v2 migration and the folder-management tools, and their bug reports drove the 0.6.x pagination fixes. See contributors
- Used beyond the repo: installed from PyPI by researchers in Europe and Asia, and listed on Glama.
- Kept working: a daily check installs the published package from PyPI, so a dependency release that breaks installs is caught within a day.
uvx mendeley-mcpTurns paper references in code comments and notebooks (arXiv, DOI, IEEE, PubMed) into links with abstracts, citation counts, an in-editor PDF preview and two-way Zotero and Mendeley sync. One product for VS Code-family editors and JupyterLab:
| Where you work | Get it | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| VS Code | Marketplace | |
| Cursor, Windsurf, VSCodium | Open VSX | |
| JupyterLab | PyPI · repo |
Finds docs that no longer match the code: stale parameters, renamed functions, README examples that would fail. The same engine runs in three places:
| Surface | Install | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| VS Code extension | Marketplace · Open VSX | |
| Command line | npx docs-drift |
|
| GitHub Action | uses: pallaprolus/drift@v0 |
fails pull requests that leave docs behind |
