[Bug]: Mobile floating thread status covers composer command suggestions #20216

Closed as not planned

Description

@camchis

Before submitting

  • I searched existing issues and did not find a duplicate.
  • I included enough detail to reproduce or investigate the problem.

Area

apps/mobile

Steps to reproduce

  1. On the mobile app, open a thread that shows the floating status above the composer (for example, while a turn is running or a goal is paused).
  2. Type / in the composer to open the command suggestions.

Expected behavior

Every suggestion stays readable and tappable. The status should either sit above the suggestions or be drawn underneath them.

Actual behavior

The floating status sits on top of the suggestions and hides the command names and descriptions of the rows behind it. It also intercepts taps, so those rows can't be selected.

Impact

Minor bug or occasional failure

Version or commit

main @ 0f36a11 (still present at 2ebc9fa)

Environment

iOS: iPhone (physical device) and iPhone 17 Pro simulator on iOS 26.5

Screenshots, recordings, or supporting files

Floating status covering a command suggestion

Workaround

Keep typing to filter the list until the command you want is no longer behind the status.

Grok responding on behalf of Julius.

Duplicate of #16112 — same mobile floating / running-status pill covering composer slash-command suggestions (and intercepting taps). Prefer the older report as canonical.

Open fix: #19713 (fix(mobile): keep skill suggestions tappable above the status pill).
