Markdown file links are ambiguous and hide their destination

Markdown links currently render as generic blue links, so users can’t tell where a link goes without clicking it.

This is especially problematic for file links with the same filename in different directories.

Users should be able to distinguish file links inline and preview or copy the destination without immediately opening it.

Am I the only one that thinks these tools can all benefit from a markdown viewer? Annoying to open a separate tool to view markdown plan files, etc.

I've been hoping for something like this. It's frustrating to work on a plan and then be taken out of the flow into another app to view the output, pull quotes from the plan to iterate on, go back to app, paste them in, etc...

For me, ideal UX would be open plan side by side with chat interface in Preview Mode by default. With toggle to switch to editor. Also, an annotation feature to add comments/questions to lines or selected chunks and then submit all at once would be a game changer (similar to how Antigravity does it).

I hope to be able to mock this up at some point and submit a feature request.
