Steps to reproduce
- Open T3 Code nightly
- Type / in the composer
- The command palette shows only "BUILT-IN → /model (Switch response model for this thread)"
- There is no /compact, /clear, /new, or any other command
Expected behavior
A useful set of built-in commands should be available (e.g. /compact, /clear, /new) per the composer placeholder "Ask anything, @tag files/folders, $use skills, or / for commands".
Actual behavior
Only /model appears. No way to compact long threads from the UI. Long Codex sessions balloon to hundreds of MB on disk and the thread slows down; a UI-level compact action is critical for daily use. Confirmed on latest nightly 0.0.34-nightly.20260819.1133.
Impact
Blocks work completely
