ApprovabilityVerdict: Needs Human Approval Macroscope's review found this PR requires human approval — This focused fix improves retained callback-error feedback across web and mobile, with regression coverage and no schema or configuration changes. Because it modifies the live provider sign-in flow and authentication feedback behavior, it warrants human review. You can add or adjust custom eligibility rules. Learn more. |

- Around line 193-197: Update the SettingsProviderAccountsRouteScreen handling
of waiting-state inputError so VoiceOver announces retained callback errors on
iOS when the error changes; use an iOS announcement or an alert treatment that
announces the error on both platforms, while preserving the existing Android
announcement.

those error-state attributes when it is not shown.

A rejected pasted Antigravity callback currently appears only in the transient RPC error. Render the server-retained validation message while sign-in waits; remove it when the flow advances. The shared web authentication component covers provider Settings and setup, and mobile renders the same optional state field. The callback input describes its retained rejection and marks the invalid state; iOS announces changed feedback using the existing native pattern.
Client layer over #21419, rebuilt from #18096 by @kaovilai.
Verification: existing browser suite 14 → 15 cases, all pass in configured headless Chromium. The behavior test proves persistent feedback through a retry and removal on verifying. Web/mobile typecheck and targeted formatting pass; lint has one pre-existing mobile ANSI-regex warning. Combined stack: 40 focused tests pass. Four fresh full-diff review rounds completed. The final Claude Opus and Codex Sol reviews found no blocking code findings, including the accessibility follow-up. The existing test reproduces the duplicate with a real RPC failure, then proves one retained message after the fix. Current-head functional CI and CodeRabbit pass. The final native-fingerprint run succeeds; earlier duplicate runs were cancelled. Macroscope requires human approval for authentication behavior. CodeRabbit confirmed both accessibility fixes and resolved both review threads.
Live proof: isolated Linux server and actual web Settings, same 1280×800 viewport and fixture flow. Before is the actual base f3e9efc; after is head a08940b. Live DOM inspection confirmed one message, aria-invalid=true, and aria-describedby resolving to that message. Valid submission cleared the feedback and invalid state and reached Signed in. The rejected state remains on the server across the client change. The base shows the RPC alert below the input; the head retains one copy in Account status and suppresses the duplicate alert.

Current-head recording: rejection clears on callback submission
Not verified: native VoiceOver/TalkBack behavior, real Google account eligibility, macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, or Electron desktop runtime. Remote/relay/tunnel use the unchanged environment RPC path but were not exercised live. No merge performed.
Model/harness: Codex gpt-6-astra (tests), gpt-6.1-sol (implementation), gpt-6-sol and Claude claude-opus-5-5 (adversarial review), through T3 Code.
