ApprovabilityVerdict: Needs Human Approval Macroscope's review found this PR requires human approval — This PR combines atomic scheduled-task persistence changes with substantial server, desktop, mobile, web, provider, VCS, connection, and UI behavior changes. The breadth and cross-platform runtime impact require a human review of integration and production effects. Notes:

- Line 234: Update the patch condition for modelSelection to compare the
effective selection’s instanceId and model against baseline.modelKey, rather
than comparing draft.modelKey; this ensures the fallback shown by
activeSelection is saved when the selected project disables the draft’s current
instance.

Problem
Saving an open web or mobile scheduled-task editor sends stale values for controls the user did not change. A title-only save should preserve a newer prompt, model, workspace control, project, or binding from another client.
Change
Web, desktop, and mobile scheduled-task editors currently resend their opening snapshots. Send only fields changed by the user, scoped to the live task, and merge individual workspace controls without losing hidden fields or a concurrent binding. A real project move detaches its old binding. Missing tasks cannot be saved. Older servers use a live-snapshot upsert with requireExisting; that compatibility path remains non-atomic.
Scope and approval
Maintainer takeover of @saphid’s #11592, announced in the takeover comment. This stack rebuilds the same atomic-edit and scheduler concurrency scope against current main. The publishing maintainer, @juliusmarminge, is listed in the explicit maintainer triage exemptions; contribution eligibility is separate from correctness approval. This work remains unmerged and subject to current-head CI and human review.
Verification
Rebuilt from @saphid’s #11592.
Both client suites were rerun after main integration and pass: 72 cases, including five previously failing bot regressions and their controls. An unchanged draft normalizes a live sub-minute interval from the live row, even if the editor opened on a valid interval or webhook; an explicit schedule edit wins. The web patch saves the effective fallback model displayed by its picker while an untouched normal model preserves concurrent changes. Web/mobile typechecks and targeted lint pass.
Web proof captured at bc26b219a5, headless Linux: two separately paired clients edited a paused fixture. A stale title save preserved the newer prompt. Deleting the task disabled Save in the stale editor. A title-only save normalized 30 seconds to one minute. A missing-provider fixture displayed GPT-6-Astra and saved that effective selection; a read-only database query confirmed instanceId=codex/model=gpt-6-astra. All three tasks stayed paused with zero runs, then were deleted.
Stale draft before saving:
Result after saving:
Recording of the concurrent save.
Recording of the fallback-model save. The persisted selection changed from retired-proof/retired-model to codex/gpt-6-astra.
The subsequent reservation-predicate fix and main integration change no scheduler builder or exercised save path; these captures are reused proof of those unchanged flows, rather than captures of the later head. No visible controls were added. macOS, Windows, Electron, iOS, Android, remote relay/tunnel, and an actual older server were not exercised. Native mobile evidence remains a human check; shared web logic covers desktop, and focused mobile tests cover its separate builder.
Three independent review rounds addressed binding-mode, live-trigger, legacy-interval, model-selection, and project-scope findings. A later bot finding exposed a move between the dispatch re-read and reservation update. One additional timing case reproduced it, and the reservation now also matches the expected project. The fourth independent round (Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Sol) found no additional code blockers in each individual layer or the complete stack. Main was then integrated to retain its webhook acceptance claim cleanup; the fixture conflict preserves both incoming retry coverage and takeover credential/binding coverage. The fifth independent round (Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Sol) found no additional code blockers in each layer or the combined stack against the integrated main base. Current-head CI and bot reassessment remain required.
Implementation: GPT-6.1 Sol (high), Codex harness through T3 Code. Tests: GPT-6 Astra (high), Codex. Independent review: Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Sol through T3 Code.
