Session Handoff [auto-1906]: Clear Bash's Hash and Test the Shim After It Exists in the Shim Rule #1963
Fix Clear Bash's Hash and Test the Shim After It Exists in the Shim Rule #1906 in the shell-codestyle self-recursive shim rule (.agents/skills/shell-codestyle/SKILL.md, plus the CODESTYLE.md Shell section wherever it states the same rule, then regenerate the distributions with scripts/build_dist.py). The rule must say to clear bash's command hash (hash -r) before capturing the real path with type -P, and to run the [ "$real" -ef "$shim" ] identity test only after the shim file exists, so a stale hashed path to a deleted-and-rebuilt shim cannot pass the check. Done: the fix merged to develop through a feature pull request whose body carries Closes on promotion: #1906, every gate green and every review finding disposed of.
External blockers
None known. Unattended run, scope develop: the worker merges only its feature -> develop pull request.
Internal dependencies
None. The edit is carried canonical content, so local-strict-review runs before every push and the generated .github/skills/ and .claude-plugin/ trees are regenerated, never hand-edited.
State
No branch, worktree, or pull request exists for this lane yet. The worker creates feature/auto-1906 in its own worktree based on develop. Re-derive develop's head and the rule's current text before editing, since #1900 introduced the rule and later changes may have touched it.
The parked decision queue
None. This lane was picked because #1906 names a determined fix and needs no maintainer decision.
What the last round did
Created by the unattended-handoff picker from the open backlog. No work has been done on #1906.
Done. PR #1964 merged to develop as a84d4b6. It fixes #1906, which stays open until promotion (Closes on promotion: #1906): the shell-codestyle shim rule now runs hash -r before the type -P capture, keeps the -ef identity test before the write, and repeats it once the shim is written, removing the shim where it fails. The local strict review's first pass found that testing only after the write would leave a self-calling shim on disk when the inherited PATH already held it, which is why both tests stay. Nothing else filed, no lesson issue. Lane closed out, no successor.
