Track Qodo's Open-Source Login and State Its Star Gate - #2253
Conversation
The paid Qodo app is uninstalled, so its qodo-code-review identity posts nothing. Qodo now reviews only through its open-source app, which covers a public repository with more than 200 stars, PlexCleaner alone in this fleet. pr_review.py tracked the paid login, so the open-source app's threads and findings comment were invisible to unresolved= and qodo_open=. The reviewer reference, the evaluation's next steps, and pr-review-conduct's skip-notice trigger now state the star gate rather than a Qodo review for the asking. Closes #1465. Refs #1404, whose count-every-thread fix stays its own change. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Every Qodo fixture read the login from the constant under test, so a wrong value passed. One thread now carries the literal, and reverting the constant fails it. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Qodo's open-source app opens a thread per finding, and resolving it adds no badge to its findings comment, so qodo_open reported every resolved finding as open. A finding whose numbered title opens one of the reviewer's threads is now counted only by its thread. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The prefix match hid a finding behind any thread whose title extended it, keyed a code-led title on its number alone, missed a title below a severity line, and blanked backtick spans on one side only. Both sides now reduce to the first numbered line, with trailing labels, markup, escapes, and case removed, and compare by equality. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
This reverts commit ba6bfa1.
This reverts commit e22fe40.

Copilot review overview
🔵 Needs a closer look
It changes merge-gate-adjacent review automation and carried governance content, and intentionally ships a known qodo_open double-count regression affecting PlexCleaner, so a maintainer should sign off on that tradeoff.

What changed in this PR
This PR retargets the fleet's PR-review tooling from Qodo's now-uninstalled paid identity (qodo-code-review) to its open-source identity (qodo-free-for-open-source-projects), and documents Qodo's star gate (reviews only public repos over 200 stars, so only PlexCleaner in this fleet, with no trigger below the gate). It fits into the review-automation layer: scripts/pr_review.py feeds the status/wait merge-gate digest, and the docs/skills describe which reviewers a repository actually has. The PR explicitly defers the resulting qodo_open double-count to a tracking issue, noting that error is loud rather than silent.
Changes:
- Switch
QODO_LOGINto the open-source login so that app's threads count towardunresolved=and its findings comment is read; update test fixtures to match (keeping one literal login as a wrong-constant guard). - Document Qodo's >200-star gate, its absence below the gate, the tracked login, and the uninstalled paid app's silent
qodo-code-reviewidentity acrosspr-reviewer-reference.mdandpr-reviewer-evaluation.md. - Update
pr-review-conductskill (source plus generated copies) so the skip-notice bullet says to comment the named trigger rather than offering Qodo's/review.

The reference stated a strict greater-than-200 gate and the absence of a manual trigger, neither of which was measured. It now names the 200-star threshold without a boundary, and what Qodo has actually done on this repository. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…mmand The coverage sentences claimed more than was measured: Qodo reviewing every public repository, this repository never having had a Qodo review, a manual trigger reaching nothing, and a billing notice on every pull request. Each now states only the automatic coverage. A skip notice names no comment trigger, so the skill names the reviewer's documented review command instead. Each was already reviewed and merged into develop. - [#2253](#2253): Track Qodo's open-source login and state its star gate. - [#2259](#2259): Give install-tools a JSON report mode a program can read. Copilot could not review it, since Copilot code review has reached its weekly rate limit (#2261). This answers Copilot's High finding on this promotion. - [#2267](#2267): State the install-tools JSON report in `docs/host-setup.md`, answering Copilot's previously-missed finding on #2259's report mode. - [#2269](#2269): Drop two false pointers from Blog's deploy-secret drift note, and recast every semicolon in the registry's driftNotes, answering Copilot's previously-missed finding on #2263's note. With the open-source login tracked, `qodo_open` double-counts that app's threaded findings and never clears them on PlexCleaner. The paid Qodo app is uninstalled. Qodo now reviews only through its open-source app,
qodo-free-for-open-source-projects, which covers public repositories with more than 200 stars. In this fleet that isPlexCleaneralone, and the app offers no trigger below the gate.scripts/pr_review.pynow tracks the open-source login instead of the paid one, so that app's threads count towardunresolved=and its findings comment is read again. One test fixture carries the literal login, so a wrong constant fails the suite.docs/pr-reviewer-reference.mdstates Qodo's star gate, says Qodo is absent below it with nothing to request, names the login, and notes that the hub's.pr_agent.tomlcurrently reaches no reviewer here.docs/pr-reviewer-evaluation.mdlimits the Qodo half of "record every finding" to repositories past the gate.pr-review-conduct, the skip-notice bullet no longer offers Qodo's/review. It now says to comment the trigger the notice names. Not in this PR: with the open-source login tracked,
qodo_opendouble-counts that app's threaded findings and never clears them. That error is loud, never silent, and it's filed as #2252. Three attempts at matching findings to threads were backed out, and the issue records why. #1404's decided "count every unresolved thread" fix also remains its own change.Closes #1465.
