Retain precharged warm-access gas on database error exits while leaving successful-path accounting unchanged. Cover failed account, storage and code-hash reads, including repeated attempts, with a journal-meter regression. Include both cheatcode packages in the release metadata.

Include dependency consumers in the changelog
This commit also upgrades the workspace rustls dependency consumed directly by the publishable foundry-cli package and soldeer-core consumed and publicly re-exported by foundry-config, but this fragment lists neither package and mentions only the RISEx feature. Add foundry-cli and foundry-config with appropriate bumps and include the dependency-maintenance change in the release note.

Gate RISEx-only dependencies behind the feature
When foundry-evm-networks is built with its default features and risex-risk-precompile is disabled, the entire risex_formula module is excluded, but cpu-time, libc, and the normal serde_json dependency are still fetched and compiled unconditionally. This makes the opt-in feature increase the dependency and platform surface of every default downstream build; mark these normal dependencies optional and enable them through risex-risk-precompile (while retaining any test-only dependency needed by the unfeatured test configuration).

Validate the descriptor before compatibility fallback
When a decoded request has an unsupported loader, schema, or operation-set version while the active descriptor is inactive, malformed, or points to the wrong blob, this early return emits the compatibility status without reading the descriptor. The bundled loader manifest permits those fallback-driving statuses only when the active descriptor remains valid; otherwise the call must fail closed (or report inactivity), so the current ordering can route an invalid descriptor into a Solidity fallback that should not run. Validate the active descriptor before returning request-compatibility statuses.
Useful? React with 👍 / 👎.
Summary
0xF100, with a bounded generated storage loader and specialized V1 formula.Contracts counterpart: risechain/risex-contracts#703.
Runtime revision:
4d7646431358941a951fffa623483108a4f7e35aGenerated contracts artifact revision:
d2aedb90f5e90ca20822525b2a1ef736e4834708Safety and compatibility
The provider accepts only direct, static, zero-value calls and validates the request, descriptor, schema, and journal-accounted dependency code before evaluation. Missing or recoverably unavailable providers retain the Solidity path; malformed schema and state fail closed.
The shared loader matches compact-only FundingRateV2 and the lazy hot-index layout. Normal orders use canonical slots; ready owner sides narrow only RO discovery. Pending replay precedes unready live-risk fallback. Live-risk scans skip zero queued/claimable depth and use the inclusive prefix; projected-fill discovery retains its separate
seq - 1convention through the same prefix implementation. There is no generic layout interpreter or parallel worker layer in V1. Layout changes require regenerated contract-owned artifacts and a matching runtime. The filtered recorder remains inactive by default, with limits of 32 accounts and 65,536 attempted reads.
Verification
All 144 feature-enabled network tests passed on Rust 1.96, including strict artifact identities and first-error/read-order regressions.
The paired contracts passed 56 focused storage, replay, and exact-journal checks, 70 default-profile formula/schema checks, and 3,009 broad non-fork tests (six existing skips).
Generated schemas, corpus, and fixtures match the pinned contracts artifacts byte-for-byte. Rust formatting and diff checks passed.
Rebuilt runtime
4d7646431358941a951fffa623483108a4f7e35a: shadow profile 34/34, consume profile 34/34, and mandatory journal/registry suite 24/24 passed. These are correctness checks, not CPU measurements.Local custom-runtime gas checks use
FOUNDRY_ISOLATE=falseto match the stock runner; thresholds were not relaxed. The existing dependency repair remains: Rustls 0.23.45 and Soldeer 0.12.0, with no advisory waivers added by this change. No fresh CPU measurement is claimed for this revision. The strict per-case upper-confidence-bound ≤1.0 gate is unchanged; current Foundry hosted checks and CPU evidence remain pending. The paired contracts' synthetic stack merge is currently blocked by the newer-master oracle interface integration reported in risechain/risex-contracts#703.
