📚 Description

Round of homepage fixes from looking at production after #136.

• The hero paragraph read as a riddle. Rewritten around who wrote the skill and who read it.
• The hero install command printed whatever repo topped trending (npx skilld add gh:nestyme/awesome-prompts this week). We want people pulling in the skill they need when they need it, so the command and its "No sign-up" line are gone. Search is the only action left.
• The rail showed ten rows of one author when a multi-skill repo trended. One skill per author now, padded with the evergreen set so it still scrolls.
• Door marks were dot-grid tiles. Bare stroke icons now, same as the track tiles.
• "The taste test" section is gone. It asserted three things the hero already says, with nothing behind them. The featured collection band is the proof of taste.
• The freshness band described the digest without showing it. The real rendered email sits beside the pitch again, through the same renderWeekly the Monday send uses.
• "Recently updated" showed one card. pbakaus/impeccable has a bot commit that syncs daily, and the activity table logs every sync, so that one skill had 1,051 rows and filled the whole 60-row read. The query now takes the latest row per skill first, then at most six skills per repo. Against production D1 it returns eight repos in 65ms.
• The search panel hardcoded a dark surface, so it rendered black in light mode. It also ran wider than the input and overlapped the rail.

Not sure whether the activity table should be logging a skill_updated row when the SKILL.md bytes did not change. That is an ingest question and I left it alone here.

Checked in a browser on a local build with seeded trending data, since CI cannot see the page:

• Hero rail lists 19 rows, every author once (8 trending, 11 evergreen)
• Search panel is light in light mode and sits inside the input's width
• Digest preview renders the real email beside the pitch, inert and hidden from assistive tech
• New recent-updates query run against production D1: 8 repositories, 65ms
