Description

I wasn't able to comment on the commit and I don't use Reddit so apologies if this is not well-received.

I don't know what feedback you want but I do enjoy the Thunderbird assets and have automation looking for it. Would you accept a pull request adding those assets back to the releases? (I don't consume anything related to NPM.)

    I've created a commit that can be cherry picked on a branch in a fork since I am unable to open a Pull Request:

    rcalixte/uBlock@d2daa6c

    Please let me know if anything else is needed on my part.

    @onePW

    Regrettably, I have seen no asset for Thunderbird lately.

    Has the asset for Thunderbird been discontinued?

    @NTxC

    Removing Thunderbird assets is one of the silliest things I've seen done here. What's the issue with providing it?

    Lower maintenance burden

    It's in the commit message. If you want to do "non-silly" thing, feel free to undertake it yourself.

    We are volunteers, we don't have enough time.

    @celenityy

    FWIW: I started maintaining this myself here: https://github.com/celenityy/uBird.

    Unfortunately, repository from "scratch" causes old links to be broken:

    celenityy/Dove@46c20fe https://github.com/celenityy/uBlock/releases/tag/1.66.4.0
    celenityy/Dove@e12618d https://github.com/celenityy/uBlock/releases/tag/1.66.4.0

    I don't know if it's possible to add an alias when someone posted an old link in a thread with a reply editing lock (e.g. limited to repository organization).

    Theoretically, when we abandon the releases section on GitHub, we can make a fake entry there with links to the gitlab installation (until Microsoft regulations prohibit it retroactively, generating warnings about the possibility of losing the repository/organization/account).
