RicePDF is a custom deployment of the generic viewer reader mode add-on (that lets you change the PDF's colors) on top, packaged as a Web Extension.
It also adds some other features like Smart Zoom text and Show/Hide toolbar to optimize space and assist reading, especially on smaller devices.

To allow the extension to read and load PDFs across different domains:
- Right-click the extension icon in your browser toolbar.
- Under site permissions or access settings, ensure the extension is allowed to read and change data on all sites.
- Themes: Switch between different color themes to customize your PDF reading experience.
- Smart Zoom: Automatically zoom in or adjust zoom levels by pressing the z key.
- Toggle Toolbar: Hide or show the viewer toolbar by pressing F3 to maximize reading space.
- Select-to-Search: Select any text in the PDF to quickly search on Google or ChatGPT using the context options.
- Open New File: Press Shift + O to open a new PDF file directly within the reader.
- Remember Reading Position: Automatically saves and restores your scroll position and zoom level when you reopen a document.
