- One-line PR description: Proposes declarative SBOM input fields, formatting, and deployment uploads for package SBOMs
- Issue link: SBOM Retrieval, Format, and Publication Enhancement #50
- Other comments: The addition of an augmentation mechanism is still being reviewed as a critical ecosystem gap that we may want to support. Separately I don't feel strongly about our storage formats. Providing a conversion mechanism enables different entities to align to their own conventions without being tied to the input format and introduces less change to the ingest of what is currently packaged today.
