When I moved to latest, all/a lot of the intersphinx links broke. It seems there is an object.inv file, so that's not the issue (I got this one just now, converted to json).

I think this has to do with how pages are handled? So https://zarr.readthedocs.io/en/latest/user-guide/config/ and https://zarr.readthedocs.io/en/stable/user-guide/config.html both exist, both https://zarr.readthedocs.io/en/latest/user-guide/config.html does not. I also don't see user-guide in the new inventory, but do see it in the old one, so I think that might be the issue

Also the 404 page needs to be fixed: https://zarr.readthedocs.io/en/latest/user-guide/config.html it's totally missing it's CSS

thanks for catching this @ilan-gold! I tested that the errors you encountered in anndata are fixed by #3544
