Sure, that should work just fine. The decompression code could even be in .zig code since this feature does not depend on itself.

These files are already quite small (~40K, ~400K) and already in a bespoke compression format of sorts which is lovely to unpack. So I think they're already in a sweet spot, no need to complicate the logic or add a dependency on compression.
