• Migration runner configured (Supabase CLI or equivalent)
• At least one base migration creates the profiles table
• Smoke test suite verifies that critical tables and columns exist
• Migrations are idempotent — safe to re-run
• CI/CD runs migrations and smoke tests before deployment

🧪 Testing / Validation

• Manually verify each acceptance criterion above in a local dev environment
