Antigravity's live ACP stream titles an MCP call "Running <tool>" with no server or MCP _meta, and reports the step's own summary as rawOutput instead of the MCP result. A completed html_render therefore projected as a generic "Running html_render" row whose output was text like "Render revenue chart", so no client showed the page, although T3 had published it. Identity recovery now accepts Antigravity's "Running <tool>" title, gated on the T3 tool inventory like the other bare-name conventions. HtmlRender.publish keeps each page it published, with its arguments, in McpProviderSessions, the per-thread state the T3 MCP server already shares with provider adapters. When a recovered html_render call completes without a readable page reference, the shared ACP adapter takes the thread's oldest kept page with the same title and height and projects it as the call's output. Failed calls and calls with no matching page stay as reported. Kept pages are bounded and dropped when the thread's MCP session is cleared. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
ApprovabilityVerdict: Would Approve Macroscope's review found this PR approvable — This is a focused ACP compatibility fix for an existing html_render display failure, with bounded session state and targeted unit/integration coverage. It introduces no schema, deployment, security, billing, default, or static-analysis changes. Needs human approval because:

The ACP adapter stores a recovered html_render page as the call's rawOutput, but a repeated completed update for the same call merges its summary rawOutput over it. The call then looked pageless again and took the thread's next kept page with the same title and height, so the item showed another call's page and that call lost it. A completion without a readable page now reuses the page the call already holds before taking a kept one. takeHtmlRender also matches a height an agent reports as a numeric string, such as "240", against the number html_render stored. ACP reports a tool call's status apart from its result, so a completed
html_render update can still carry an MCP result with isError. That result
holds no page, so the adapter took a page the thread had kept for the same
arguments, or reused the call's earlier page, and showed it in place of the
error. A completed call whose result is an error now keeps the reported
output and claims no page.
The check reads the result both bare and wrapped in `result`, because
acpMcpToolCallOutput unwraps `{ result: CallToolResult }` to its content and
drops isError on the way.

The MCP server keeps the page of every html_render call for agents that report a call without its result. A completed call that already reported its page skipped the kept pages, so its page stayed behind, and a later call with the same arguments that arrived without a result could show it. A call now takes its kept page the first time it completes, whether or not it reported the page. A call that reported its page takes that very page by attachment, not the oldest page kept for its arguments, so it never takes the page of another call that is still running. A repeated completion finds the call's page in its stored state and takes nothing more. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Pages kept for agents that report a call without its result were matched by title and height alone, so two calls with the same title and height that completed out of order took each other's pages. A kept page now holds its length and its last 8,000 characters, and a call matches it by its html as well: whole, or bounded to its end the way Antigravity bounds long input strings before the adapter sees them. A call without html, or whose arguments match several kept pages, takes none and keeps the output it reported. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

The kept html_render pages were one list for every thread, so 64 newer pages from other threads could evict a page still pending in this thread. Kept pages are now held per thread, and the 64-page cap applies to each thread on its own. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Antigravity can report a successful
html_rendercall asRunning html_renderwith a text summary instead of its MCP result. The thread then hides the published page.Recognize the injected tool identity and recover its published attachment from a bounded cache for that thread. Match full HTML exactly, or a unique retained tail when the ACP normalizer truncates arguments. Keep errors intact, consume references once, preserve repeated completion updates, discard references from failed calls and replaced credentials, and roll back interrupted publishing.
Maintainer takeover of #19796, building on @neo-clon's provider investigation and original implementation. Contributor commits are preserved; current main is merged into the branch.
