Filter find_run on Corpus So a Reduced Run Is Not Read as Full-Corpus Ground Truth - #1135
corpus_common.find_run picked the newest develop run by Channel alone. A reduced-corpus run (<version>-reduced/, Corpus: reduced) is also a develop run, so after any reduced run, audit_physical.py and catalog_corpus.py with no --run read it as full-corpus ground truth.
find_run takes a corpus argument, default full, and filters on buildinfo.jsonCorpus. The issue proposed falling back to the -reduced directory suffix where Corpus is missing. The harness has written Corpus since it first wrote -reduced directories, so a run without the field is always full-corpus, and the fallback is "full" rather than a suffix check. Both tools' --run help names the full-corpus default.
New FindRunTests cases, on constructed run directories with a patched REG_DIR, cover a newer reduced run beside an older full one, a run with no Corpus field, and no matching run.
Default run selection now chooses the newest run matching both the requested channel and corpus, rather than potentially selecting a newer run from a different corpus.
Runs without corpus metadata are treated as full-corpus runs.
Error messages identify the requested channel and corpus when no matching run is available.
Explicitly requesting a reduced corpus continues to select a matching run.
Documentation
Command-line help clarifies that the default is the newest full-corpus develop run.
… Ground Truth
find_run picked the newest develop run by Channel alone, so a reduced-corpus
run became the default ground truth for audit_physical.py and catalog_corpus.py.
It now takes a corpus argument, default full, read from buildinfo.json Corpus
and falling back to the -reduced directory suffix for older runs.

Walkthrough
find_run now selects runs by channel and corpus, with full as its default. The CLI help text describes that default. Tests cover full and reduced corpus selection, missing corpus metadata, and the no-match case.

Keep reduced runs out of default full-corpus ground truth
🐞 Bug fix🧪 Tests🕐 10-20 Minutes
AI Description
• Filter automatic run selection by corpus so newer reduced runs cannot become full-corpus ground
truth.
• Treat runs without a Corpus field as full-corpus and clarify both tools’ defaults.
• Test full, reduced, legacy, and no-match run selection.
Filtering on the harness-written Corpus metadata is the right approach. A directory-suffix fallback would misclassify older runs without that field, which predate reduced runs.

• Temporary run directories verify that a newer reduced run does not displace a full run, that reduced runs can be requested, and that missing Corpus metadata means full. A no-match case verifies that selection exits when only reduced runs exist.
Add a test with two full runs to cover newest-run selection.
The find_run fixtures contain only one full run, so a regression that returns the first matching full run would still pass. Add a fixture with two full runs and assert that the newer one is returned.

Add a test alongside the existing `find_run` assertions that creates two
full-run fixtures with different timestamps and verifies `cc.find_run(None)`
returns the newer run. Keep the existing reduced-corpus coverage unchanged.
Assert the no-match diagnostic text in testnomatchingrunexits.
Assert the no-match diagnostic text in test_no_matching_run_exits.
The test passes for any SystemExit. It does not check the message that find_run now reports. A change that drops the channel or corpus from that message still passes the test.

Update test_no_matching_run_exits to capture the SystemExit exception from
cc.find_run(None) and assert its message includes both “develop” and “full”.

RegressionTests/tests/test_corpus_common.py:130-134, "Add a test with two full runs to cover newest-run selection." Fixed in 05b10fc: the test adds an older full run, so the newer full run has to win on mtime.
