Stop Calling the Toolchain Bundle a Profile in python-codestyle profiles.md #3550

Closed

Description

@ptr727

Summary

python-codestyle's references/profiles.md now defines a profile per declared directory, after #3492. Its "Adapt before propagating" section and its title still use "profile" for something else.

  • "The default Python profile" there means a per-repository toolchain bundle: the type checker, the dependency declaration, and versioning.
  • "The axes that commonly vary per repo" assumes one bundle per repository. A repository with several build-profile directories can vary those axes per directory.

One file then uses one word for two things.

Expected

"Adapt before propagating" names the toolchain bundle with a term other than "profile", or says it applies per declared directory. The two meanings no longer share one word.

    Backlog burndown round 3 claim, one group for #3548, #3550, #3552 and #3554. Branch: feature/3548-python-profile-followups. Predicted file set: .agents/skills/python-codestyle/SKILL.md, .agents/skills/python-codestyle/references/profiles.md (the "Adapt before propagating" text), spec/type-model.md and spec/project-types.json (their Python profile text only), plus regenerated copies under .github/skills/ and .claude-plugin/fleet-skills/ (skill files and .source-digests/ entries) for python-codestyle.
