Conversation
ApprovabilityVerdict: Approved at Macroscope's review found this PR approvable — This PR addresses abandoned provider turns after ingestion failures, ensuring they are interrupted and recorded before a thread continues, while leaving normal execution unchanged. The remaining UI edits are labeling and accessibility improvements, and the recovery behavior has focused regression coverage. You can add or adjust custom eligibility rules. Learn more. |

repair the provider-turn projection by writing the interrupted
provider-turn.updated event after interrupting the provider, or explicitly treat
only the adapter’s inactive-turn result as successful recovery in
ProviderTurnStartService’s interruptTurn handling. Preserve failure propagation
for unrelated interrupt errors and ensure recovery does not settle or fail the
continuation before recording the repair.

Adopts #23169's abandoned-turn interrupt on ingestion failure in place of this branch's duplicate interrupt and turn tracking. When that interrupt fails or never answers, the turn now ends failed with the run instead of staying running. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

such as , or a raw \\host\share path, was classified as a host file. Rendering it asked the server for a signed asset URL, and the server's realpath on the resulting UNC path made Windows open an SMB session and send the user's NetNTLMv2 response to the attacker's host, with no click and no tool call. File-link chips did the same through filesystem.getMetadata, which stats every absolute path, and storage cleanup stats the store paths in a worktree's pnpm manifest, which an agent can write. Network paths (two leading separators, as Windows reads them: \\h, //h, /\h) now only resolve inside the thread's project, so projects on a share keep working: - clients block them in markdown images and stop treating them as file links - the web stops asking for their metadata - the server refuses them for media assets and file reads outside the project, never stats one for metadata, and storage cleanup ignores a pnpm manifest that names one - each check hands the filesystem the resolved path it approved, since Windows reads a `\\?\` path as written, `..` included Co-authored-by: Claude Opus basically fixes for when your disk gets filled up or sqlite errors so it doesn't put a thread in a unusable state
When event ingestion fails, T3 can mark a run failed while its provider keeps working. Follow-up messages then fail because the previous provider turn is still active.
Stop the affected provider turn and record its interruption atomically with the failed run after an ingestion failure. Before a continuation starts, recover a running turn left by an earlier failed run on the same provider thread and record its interruption. The existing native conversation is preserved. Web and mobile now label the ongoing setup script "Background setup".
